Riley was born in Vancouver, BC and spent his first six months of life there before his family made the decision to relocate to Kamloops. Riley will always maintain a sentimental connection to the coast, however, especially with a name like Riley Parker – a name inspired by the park his father Les grew up next to (Riley Park, in case it wasn’t obvious).

Riley’s attention is usually plugged into multiple screens and you can almost always find him either lost inside excel spreadsheets or engrossed by whatever new video game he’s playing that week; the latter never being done at the office, of course.

While studying Business at TRU, Riley found a passion for economics and statistics, and would spend his time building complex analytical spreadsheets for fun. After being a summer student with Les for three years and graduating from TRU with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Riley was brought onboard to build client reporting and analytics software. Currently working towards becoming fully certified with IIROC, Riley plans on growing with the business and will continue to expand his knowledge in the industry.

When Riley does manage to peel his focus from his multiple screens, he’ll likely have a new dinner recipe to try his hand at, be down at the local pub for a pint and pound of wings or will continue the gaming in person by playing Dungeons and Dragons. When motivation strikes, he can be found running the Tough Mudder and Spartan Races.
